We don’t think anyone could have asked for better weather to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Adelina Wood which took place this weekend. There was an excellent turnout of approx. 80 people who thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon with a fascinating historical talk by Frank Falle about Oak apple day and its link to Jersey, this was shortly followed by a grand tour of the wood itself by Conrad Evans who graced everyone with his extensive knowledge of all the different trees. All this was made possible thanks to a very special lady called Enid Gautier who kindly donated the field to us ten years ago. Many thanks to all who contributed to a wonderful afternoon!
Ways to Support Trees for Life
Adopt a Tree
Celebration or Memorial Tree Adoption
For celebrations, commemorations, or memorials you now have the opportunity to adopt one of the major trees at The Forgotten Forest Arboretum.
Report a Tree Protector
We have been planting trees in Jersey for years and we often get reports of tree protectors not degrading as they should over time. If you see one that is clinging to its tree and refusing to give up please let us know. Drop us an email with the location and we'll get it removed.
