Over 30 volunteers from the Jersey Conservation Group joined us recently to help plant a triple hedgerow of over 450 whips as well as various trees. The weather was fortunately on our side and all who attended put in an admirable shift, after which we were all treated to some home-made cakes and tea/coffee. The planting was undertaken as a part of our Hedgerow Campaign. Species planted included Hawthorn, Blackthorn, Hazel, Elder, Dog Rose, Oak, Sweet Chestnut, Horse Chestnut and Wild Cherry. A big thank you to everyone who made the effort and gave up some of their free time on a sunday to help make a difference to our islands bio-diversity.

Ways to Support Trees for Life
Adopt a Tree
Celebration or Memorial Tree Adoption
For celebrations, commemorations, or memorials you now have the opportunity to adopt one of the major trees at The Forgotten Forest Arboretum.
Report a Tree Protector
We have been planting trees in Jersey for years and we often get reports of tree protectors not degrading as they should over time. If you see one that is clinging to its tree and refusing to give up please let us know. Drop us an email with the location and we'll get it removed.
