We were joined by a hardy group of volunteers from Natwest recently at our Arboretum in St.Peter.
Eleven people made it to Val de la Mare and, after the customary safety brief plus an outline of the days work ahead, set about the first of the many tasks required.
The group coped well with the cutting & stacking of the fallen / cut trees in difficult weather conditions. When the drizzle stopped they did a good job of preserving the shed.
The sickling of the bramble & bracken on the slope was a tough ask but they coped admirably.
A massive thank you to all who braved the inclement weather that day to assist us with our ongoing maintenance programme at Val de la Mare.
Please come back soon!
