Jersey Trees for Life is the only charity entirely dedicated to protecting the Island’s trees and woodlands. We are a small charity who could not survive without the help of donations, membership subscriptions, Corporate Sponsorship, and practical fundraising help from the community.

There are many ways to support us: by making a donation, becoming a member, fundraising activities or volunteering.

We have a growing list of volunteer activities, some practical and outdoor, but also indoor or clerical activities such as research or digital mapping or even envelope stuffing over a cup of tea and a natter.

We welcome businesses interested in Corporate Sponsorship and Corporate membership and we have plenty of options for teams interested in  group volunteer activities.

We gratefully accept donations towards specific projects or towards overall funding of the Association. We also consider donations of land or property as we need space to create and protect woodland for the benefit of generations to come.

Our newest project is a tree nursery where we will grow seeds collected by schools and community groups through our education programme.

Association membership is paid once a year and benefits include:

  • A one hour tree consultation.
  • 10% discount on labour costs of any commercial work undertaken.
  • Free Book: Trees in Jersey
  • Six-monthly newsletter with progress reports, activities, and upcoming events and items of interest.
  • Enjoyment of our community woodland
  • Opportunities to participate in tree planting and care activities throughout the year.

Personal Membership: £30 per year

Corporate Membership: £300 per year

Some like to “JUST DONATE” instead of paying an annual membership fee – This allows you to decide how much you’d like to contribute toward our activities. You can pay monthly by direct debit using our easy GoCardless payment system so you have the comfort of a Direct Debit Guarantee and you can stop at any time if you choose – so you have complete control. If you prefer we can also send paper Direct Debit mandates by post for you to sign.

Some members and supporters choose to leave something in their will to help us continue the work they feel so strongly about. Although a sad subject to contemplate the generosity of these supporters is immeasurable and forever appreciated.

Alternatively Donations in lieu of flowers is often chosen or a purchase of a tree in memory.
