Secondary school workshops at Val de la Mare

Jersey Trees for Life and Jersey Water are offering all secondary schools the opportunity to send their students on a free workshop at Val de la Mare.

On arrival the students will be given a walk through the Forgotten Forest learning about the importance of trees in their native habitats and their ability to influence clean water supplies. The walk will continue to the reservoir dam where the students will then be allowed to walk across the top of the dam and find out about the workings of this unusual island structure.

For bookings and further details, schools are asked to contact Jersey Trees for Life.
