Seedy Sunday returned this year after a year off and was again a tremendous success. Held this year at Le Rocquier lots of environmentally relevant organisations exhibited, or gave talks accompanied by throngs of visitors keen to buy, donate, or or exchange seeds throughout the day. We were extremely grateful to Fiona Murphy, the organiser, and Wild about Jersey for picking Trees for Life as their chosen charity, and we gratefully received a cheque for an astonishing £1,248 raised at the event presented by Fiona Murphy herself. Channel 4’s “Autistic Gardener” aptly named and extremely nice person, Alan Gardner was guest speaker and general helper throughout the day, giving a talk to a packed audience and making our day by helping with the raffle.
Thank you Fiona and everyone at Wild About Jersey Seedy Sunday 2019! We’re already preparing for 2020!
