Roy Overland Charitable Trust Woodland & Ecology Grant Fund 2019

Applications for the Roy Overland Charitable Trust Woodland & Ecology Fund are now invited. The Trust offers grants to charities and non-profit groups and organisations for community based ecology and environmental projects.

The project need not be only tree based, any project that will help the environment and ecology can be considered. The grants awards will be split between tree and broader ecological based projects. Funding decisions will be made on a case by case basis and applicants will need to complete the application form below.

The grant fund is provided by The Roy Overland Charitable Trust, and managed by Jersey Trees for Life.

Applications for 2019 are now open.

As projects involving nature often take considerable time we are trialling a different system this year where we will not have a cut off date for applications. Instead, if funds are not available in the present cycle we will offer funding in the next annual cycle.

This is the second year the fund has been operating and we are very pleased with the achievements so far: 2018 awards were granted to; Jersey Mencap for trees and equipment, Mont A L’Abbe School towards their forthcoming Forest School renovation, Birdsong Garden community gardens for trees, and Grouville School’s “Arthur’s Meadow” project for trees, plants and labour.
